Important information regarding adopting a child through H.I.S. HOME for Children: Due to recommendations from the US Embassy in Haiti, as well as indicators from the Haitian Government, H.I.S. Home for Children will no longer be able to accept applications for private adoptions after January 1, 2012. We are pleased to recommend a number of Christian international adoption agencies in the United States and Canada who will be handling the details of adoptions through H.I.S. HOME. We will continue to offer the opportunities for parent visits, skype calls with your kids, and all the other personal touches that makes adopting through H.I.S. HOME special.

If you have an approved application on file as of Jan 1, 2012, we will continue to process your adoption using the all the information below. If the Haitian government enacts new adoption laws before your child comes home, then you will need to have an agency complete the process for you. The agencies we currently work with have expressed willingness to take on these "in process" adoptions if necessary. The documents below will provide information about the adoption process in Haiti and should answer most of the frequently asked questions. If you are ready to take the next step in your adoption process, please download the H.I.S Home Adoption Application. When the application is completed, please return it with a recent family photo included to the following address:

or electronically attach a picture to a completed application and email it to us here.
Once your application has been accepted, you will be notified and matched with a child. At this point please fill out the H.I.S Home Adoption Agreement form and send it to H.I.S. HOME at the address above. At the same time, please send your $500.00 USD deposit to begin your adoptive process to our Ohio office located at 3172 Breese Road, Lima, Ohio, 45806. This form is designed to help clarify the responsibilities of the adoptive parent, as well as the responsibilities of H.I.S Home For Children.
